Roslea irish crochet lace squares tutorial Roslea squares video tutorial

Another popular element of Irish crochet lace, that was widely used is called after Roslea village in Ulster. Crafters of Roslea have widely used this element and there are may varieties of it. Even now they continue to create beautiful things with this element. But generally it is an Irish rose or the shamrock in the regular filling that has picots and bars. In this tutorial I will show you how to make a square shaped motif, that later on can be joined with others into a garment. For the project I've used Altin Basak Klassik Crochet thread size 50, hooks sized 0.60 mm.
