Have you notices, that haute-couture designers keep coming back to the Victorian time for inspiration? For the past years irish crochet lace became the subject of their attention. I was "window-shopping" last week and here is what I found!.
Of course it is not a hand-made lace, since you can see typical traces of of lace-making machines, but the pattern itself imitates the regular motives of ICL, just like the one here, in a tunic.
And the waist part is done with a square element that has a classic rose in the center and a picot mesh around it.
These main elements are separated by a filette mesh. Hemline, collar and armholes are worked with crown edging.
It is very easy to make, so get your hooks ready and start creating!
