A top made in irish crochet lace
Two years I started making wild rose flowers from Maire Treanor's book. And the most remarkable, that I did it in Clones and with Maire's guidance. Later, when I returned home, I've practiced on Roslea squares. And finally this year, again in Clones I've started gathering it all together.
It looks very authentic and antique, since the thread size is the same and the filling is made with Clones knots
As usual I can not get the proper pictures at the summer house, so in September I have to get a photo set in studio, but so far these a the pictures. And yes, the allergy is on, reed is blooming and so do I :)
It took 2.5 skeins (250 gr) of Klassik AltinBasak size 50 and 0.5 skein of size 60, crochet hook 0.6 mm. And just a little bit of Violet Yarnart for the padding cord
And the crown edge to add more edwardian look to the picture
