It's been a while since I've finished a dress for my daughter, but I did not have a chance to take a nice picture of it in this season. And so I have to publish it as it is - on a cloth hanger and some sandy beach pictures. The story of this dress started two years ago, when I completed a collar for a customer and had some flower motifs left. Of cause my little princess expressed a desire to have a dress made in irish crochet lace, so I could not resist. The whole process from idea to 60% wip was shown here . This dress was also shown in local TV-show, where I've showed how to work on irish lace, it also was used to make some of the lessons. So this kind of a celebrity itself! Since it was my first big project, I decided not to take a risk and used a tape made of shamrocks for edge, and finished armholes and collar with a padding cord and classical double stitch with picot raw. This dress took total 330 grams of Violet Yarnart which was crocheted with 1 mm hook.
