Last week my mother-in-law decided to make a present to a daughter, and bought a russian fairy tale books. As usually she looked though pages, recognising familiar heroes and decent pictures she was happy to buy such a disaster that later on brought us to the deepest shock. The book itself written in a very agressive feminist way, where the main heroess in red dresses resque their beloved handsome men, Ivan-the-prince and Iliya Muromets, which is a absolute nonesense. But the page, where Maria-the-beauty brings back to life a long-dead Iliya (hey, do you want a zombie-hubby?) made me laugh to tears. Before crying outloud the girl is putting the new dress and straitens the lace on it.
Now take a look at those laces
It seems that the artist did not even bother to check out the history and picked up the first picte he found in the net. And placed the lace that is maximum 120 years old into an ancient time story.
